David Barashi, one of the lead characters in the film, is a legend in his field. He’s a court jester and the spirit animal of the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, beloved by the patients and staff.

The "People" Magazine took a liking to our project and we created this video for them. 

People often ask us if the clowns work with children. Of course they do, but really what they do is change the environment. Take a peek into clown's work day at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem filmed by clowns themselves, brilliant improvisers - David "Dush" Barashi and Moshe "Tito" Twito.

Clowns participate in actual procedures. They come in and create a swirl of controlled chaos that takes the pressure and stress out of the room, filling it with spontaneity and fun. 

In 2014-2016 medical clowns Dori Klein and Noam Inbar participated in a research project at the adult bone marrow transplantation ward in Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Twice a week they visited the patients going through the treatment and staying in isolation over the course of four weeks. 

Hatikvah is the national anthem of Israel. "Hatikvah" means "hope" in Hebrew. Hope at the bone marrow transplantation ward is worth a lot.
